Growing in our faith is a lifelong process of exploring big and small questions, delving into the Bible, spending time in prayer, and being in a community of friends on the same journey. Gloria Dei Church has a variety of programs for its adult membership and for the community it serves. The common purpose of each is to provide for the participant an experience for spiritual growth. Discipleship Groups and other small groups are another way our community does spiritual and faith formation. Some of these groups are long-term and others meet for just a season or series of weeks. We have a men’s group that meets twice monthly, short-term prayer groups, faith accountability groups, and so much more. Check with the office to see what groups are meeting or forming soon.
Men’s Ministry meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday every month at 8:30AM in Sacred Grounds at Gloria Dei. They gather for fellowship, discussion, coffee, & donuts. Please call Ken at 215-219-8484 for more information.
Growing in Grace (GIG) is a weekly forum that tackles faith questions and bible studies led usually by the pastor. We have had series on “Bad Girls of the Bible,” favorite books of the bible, Lutheran Beliefs and the Reformation, Lessons on Grief and Loss from the Bible, and many others.
