Our Statement of Faith

We believe that the way we treat one another is the fullest expression of how we live out our faith.
We find our approach to God through the life and teachings of Jesus Christ who is our model for living.  We recognize the faithfulness of other paths which may also lead people to an experience of God.  We stand in God’s grace and we live that grace in our attitudes and actions toward one another.  We understand the church as a community of people who together make up the body of Christ.  We strive to serve the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of others.  We are inclusive, as Christ was, and welcome all people seeking a closer relationship with God.  We believe that the questions are as important as the answers, that living the mystery is a more sacred position than church tradition and doctrine.  We strive to “love all, serve all, in Jesus’ name” as we proclaim our mystery of faith that:

    Christ died...

                    Christ has risen...

Christ will come again.

Tuesday Community dinner

Every Tuesday night we gather for dinner and fellowship. Join us in a safe environment for a home cooked meal with friends and neighbors. Children's activities are included. We gather anytime after 5:30 p.m. and dinner is served at 6. All are welcome and there is no charge!

For more information or to find out how to help, please contact Jim Mulhearn at

On May 2 we will be serving Spinach lasagna and salad.

Did you know that you can give to your church online? Online giving helps the church throughout the year and makes budgeting easier.  You can set it up easily and change it at anytime.  Click the link below to get started.

Sacred Grounds

Sacred Grounds Cafe and Resource Center is a casual meeting spot open on Sunday mornings before and after our 9:00 am Crossways and 11:00 am Cathedral Services.  We begin brewing our premium coffee around 8:30 am and keep the java going until about noon.  You are welcome to bring your coffee (with a lid) into the worship service with you.  First-time visitors should make their way to the Coffee Team behind the sales counter and let them know you are new!

After the service, head to Sacred Grounds Cafe for a refill and a chance to meet some of the Gloria Dei congregation and catch up on what is happening at Gloria Dei.

Our resource center offers books, videos and other media to borrow or purchase.  Free WiFi is also available.
