Navigating the teen years isn’t easy—but having a strong faith community makes all the difference. At Gloria Dei, our Teens & Tweens Ministry is a place where middle and high school students can ask questions, build friendships, and grow in their faith in a way that feels real and relevant.

What We Do
Middle & High School students in grades 6-12 gather each Sunday from 6:00 - 7:30 pm for a time of fun, faith, & friendship.
Gloria Dei Tweens & Teens
What to Expect: Through games, song, scripture discussions, various activities, & meaningful conversations we grow closer to God and to one another in a welcoming & supportive community. Meet in the Chapel at 6:00pm.
Dates: Weekly on Sundays from 6:00 - 7:30 pm. We will not meet on Palm Sunday, March 29 (volunteer for the Community Brunch or the Egg Hunt that morning instead!) or on Easter Sunday, April 5.

Affirmation Classes
Affirmation classes help students explore their faith and make it their own. These classes help tweens and teens understand what it means to follow Jesus and live out their faith.
Who It’s For: Middle & high school students preparing for Confirmation.
What We Cover: Lutheran beliefs, faith discussions, and personal reflection.
Service Projects & Community Engagement
Faith is active—it’s something we live out through service and compassion. Our teens have the chance to make a difference through hands-on projects.
Opportunities Include: Volunteering at local shelters, food drives, and service projects that help the community.
Mission Trips
For students who want to step outside their comfort zones and grow spiritually, we offer life-changing mission trips where they can serve others and experience faith in action.
What to Expect: Travel, hands-on service, team-building, and unforgettable faith experiences.

Community Pancake Brunch Volunteer
Sunday, March 29, 11am - 1pm
Come help serve at the Community Pancake Brunch following our ONE 10am, family-friendly Palm Sunday worship service. This brunch is a huge highlight as the whole community gathers for breakfast. Sign up to help, and you’re automatically registered for brunch. Plus, you’ll be among the first to receive Gloria Dei’s epic new shirts!

Easter Egg Hunt Volunteers
Sunday, March 29, 8am & 11am
Volunteer at our annual Easter Egg Hunt and be part of this fun community tradition! Come early to help hide eggs and/or assist younger kids during the hunt. Join us afterwards for the Community Pancake Brunch!
